EFFORTS BY THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA TO ACCOUNT FULLY FOR THEIR SERVICE PERSONNEL FROM THE VIETNAM CONFLICT

Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (JPAC). As of 1 October 2003, the Joint Task Force-Full Accounting (JTF-FA), established in January 1992 and the U.S. Army's Central Identification Laboratory Hawaii (CILHI), established in May 1976, were absorbed and replaced by the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command (JPAC). JPAC will coordinate all U.S. POW/MIA investigation and recovery efforts. The new command will consists of 425 joint military and Department of the Navy civilian personnel and is headquartered in Hawaii. The first commander of this organization is Army Brig. Gen. W. Montague "Que" Winfield.

The ADF is not really interested in the ANALYSIS stage or the INVESTIGATIVE stage to any great extent. They prefer to come in at the RECOVERY stage. Therefore we NEED the assistance of the Americans, especially for in-country investigation.
